Members:Nico ‘Bunny’ Renson - Lead Vocals/keysMiles Pring - Guitar/VocalsPete Cherry - Bass/VocalsDon Bannister - Drums/vocalsBunny & the hype is the brainchild of London based singer songwriter Nico ‘Bunny’ Renson. Nico has enjoyed many successes over the years working with artists such as Macy Gray, and as a composer for many adverts. In 2006 he released his debut album in his native Belgium and scored a hit single with the song ‘Leave’. In 2008 Nico hibernated in LA, inspired by the sun, the shades and the electric piano in his hotel room he penned the songs for his new album. Once back in the UK he hooked up with his band Miles, Pete and Don and laid down the tunes for what will be the new album.



Influences:Late nights, early mornings, Fender Rhodes piano, Jack Daniels, 24C in the shade, the absence of a home cooked meal, the absence of friends & family, a Ford Tourneo, Bill Hicks, a broken Gibson 355, Petrol stations, Rocco and Bibi, and … shouldn’t forget to mention Steely Dan, Randy Newman, Doobie Brothers, Billy Joel, Hall & Oates, Steve Winwood, Talk Talk, Judee Sill and many more
