Bumtech

Bumtech is a two piece with a drum machine. We're influenced in our lineup by early eighties underground bands like the Cocteau Twins, Dead Can Dance and the Legendary Pink Dots. These heavy influences are tempered by our love of the sweet new wave sounds of bands like Depeche Mode and OMD, and the independent spirit of art rock bands like Sonic Youth and Ween.
The band has done most of its writing and performing in Portland, OR, but now it is happily creating in Los Angeles. We make music that appeals to our spiritual side so therefore we create an experience that doesn't fit into molds and expectations. We always try to make sounds that will uplift our audiences and make them happy.
