Chicagos own Buddy Nuisance released their new EP on September 5, 2006. The new record was engineered and produced by veteran producer Doug McBride (The Walkmen, Secret Machines, Rachael Yamagata). This is the follow-up to the group's self-titled 2004 debut full-length, which garnered notice for Buddy Nuisances unique take on intelligent pop music.

Buddy Nuisance put forth tightly arranged power-pop fueled by electric keyboard, mandolin, and vocal harmonies. Their hook-heavy, melodic, and pleasantly complex brand of rock comes across especially well on stage. Because of their stellar live show, Buddy Nuisance have been invited to share the stage with The Old 97s, Flickerstick, and The Samples. Most recently, they were chosen to open up for Cake at the 2006 Old St. Pats Worlds Largest Block Party. Their steadily rising profile also led to a recent appearance performing on the WGN Morning News.

Shoulders at work.
