BUDDA EARLY

Hailing from the borough that started it all, Bronx young gun Budda Early has hip hop in his blood. Growing up on Sedgwick Avenue, residing in the same building where hip hop legend KRS 1 & pioneer Kool Herc dwelled, Budda was afforded intimate exposure to the "Golden Era" of the rap game. Recognizing his love for music, Budda joined the school Glee Club in elementary students. At the age of 10 George Crosley, already known to friends and family as Budda, would start his career as a hip hop artist.



As all industry gurus know, the key to success is getting hot in your own backyard, and that's exactly what Budda did. Creating a buzz, and a bit of a sting, Money Bags
Entertainment came looking for the "kid that the streets were talking about". During his bout with Money Bags management team, Budda was introduced to Kid Capri in 1998. Recognizing he was amongst DJ royalty, Budda stayed close to kid and hustled to earn his respect. As artist & management often do, Budda & Money Bags Entertainment parted ways and in 2005 Kid Capri would sign "Budda" with the name adage of "Early" to his new label, NO KID'N RECORDS. With an eye for talent and a keen ear for what the streets are craving, Kid recognized the raw ability Budda brought to the table & knew with his direction Budda Early would hit in a big way.



With a title track for the BET movie "PRISON SONG," and another named "SHAKIN IT" for the cult classic movie, POOTIE TANG under his belt, Budda Early continues to prove his star quality. Just fresh off a US Tour with legendary Rakim & Styles P, Budda gave the nation a taste of why the Hip Hop Mecca is crowning him as "THE ANSWER" to what hip hop is in search of. It's his fresh and funky approach that has Funkmaster Flex spinning the latest club single "LET YOUR SHOULDER'S BOUNCE" on the airwaves of the 1 radio market in the nation, & the Core DJ's exposing the rest of America to the Budda Early experience. With his novice album "FROM THE P.M. to THE A.M." about to drop, fans and music critics alike get a taste of this artist's versatility & talent. Recently adding the expertise of Kristi Clifford and the supporting cast of her Asti Artist Management team, Budda's camp has fully secured his meteoric rise to the top. Raised among the founding fathers of the genre.Budda confidently and willingly accepts the challenge to bring hip hop back, "I'm the truth, I'm what hip hop needs right now, I'm what they've been waiting for!"
