DESCRIPTION:
We decided to kick off the new year with Brutal Truth - one of our favorite grindcore bands ever - to be featured in our first Most Valid Reason episode of 2015. Brutal Truth was formed in 1990, and since then they’ve been busy giving fans the earsplitting sound they started with when they first emerged on the scene. Although they disbanded for a few years, we were thrilled when we heard that they were planning another Japan tour which took place this past fall. This band pretty much provided the soundtrack to the lives of several staff members at VICE Japan. To capture this opportunity the way they probably would've wanted, we took a few Music Video Recorders with us and shot them perform as we lost ourselves in the rowdy crowd.
