BrownStudy is a mc, singer, songwriter and poet who brings a refreshing new twist
to hip hop and memorable high energy performance to every show. Brown study is a phrase that means being in a state of deep thought or daydreamer. Blessing both worlds with one message, one love, and using the vocals that God has blessed him with, he be- lieves in letting God be the rapper and him the mic.
Francisco Luis Rosado Torres, BrownStudy, was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico and found his first performances in the youth choir. The now 24-year-old barber has circled the underground hip-hop scene of Orlando for the past 4 years and has performed at various venues and churches all across the United States. Versatile from Spanish churches to bars, BrownStudy has had the opportunity to share the stage with local and well-known artists such as KJ-52, Funky, Solillaquists of Sound, Trip Lee, Lecrae, Immortal Tech- nique, and Group 1 Crew. As well as being a solo artist, Brownstudy was the front man of a hip hop/rock band called "I Am The Host", and currently has an acoustic/beat box side project called "T Study in a Box".
BrownStudy was December 2008 Power 95.3 Local Artist Spotlight of the Month, featured artist in the February 2009 edition of Pulso Beat, and performed on radio shows such as WPRK 91.5 Filtered Sunshine and Our Show. He has recently released his solo project called "My Muse" featuring tracks like "Creative Form" & his hit single, "Me". BrownStudy is now working on his new record and searching out new and exciting opportunities to get his music out to the world.
