Brooklyn Zoo

Latka is a four-piece band from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Band members are Milos Mitrovic (lead vocals), Cole Vincent (guitar, vocals), Kellen Ketchen (bass, vocals), and Andrew Clark (drums, vocals).
During the last six years, Latka has developed a loyal following in Winnipeg and elsewhere and has played live at a variety of Winnipeg venues. Songs from Latka's 2007 EP secured the band a spot on the 'Kevin Says Stage', VANS Warped Tour, Credit Union Centre, Saskatoon in the summer of 2008.



In 2009, the band began writing again, and now has a 13-song project underway which is truly a do-it-yourself local product, with all recording, editing and mixing being completed by guitarist Cole Vincent. As for Latka's sound, the following are two pretty good descriptions:



."You guys have a sound that, to me anyways, combines pop, punk and the story telling aspects of folk with a hint of some classical sounds in there." (Young Mike, Hot 103)

The band is excited about its current 13-song project, which will be complete by summer 2011.
