"We always try to classify and claim hip-hop. Even I did it at one time- I claimed I made the best hip-hop, hip-hop was only real if I made it. But now I've realized it's a worldwide movement. A lot of people live the struggle, live the vibe, or live the sensation of it, and it doesn't belong just to New York or just to the East Coast/West Coast of America. It belongs to world."-----Rza of The Wu Tang Clan

As hip hop transcends and changes face, there are still those who have unique stories to tell. Hailing from the United Kingdom, Bronz-N-Blak of Safehouse Entertainment have stepped in to restate their claim. With a global strategy in mind from the outset, Bronz-N-Blak have been taking care of business on both sides of the Atlantic. Having made an impact to inspire other ambitious young producers and artists, Bronz-N-Blak became a household name with likes of Slick Rick and Monie Love in the U.K.

Bronz also known as Coinz is the "brains and brawn" of the crew who has risen to every occasion. Recognized from London's number one rated reality show "Chancers," Bronz won global attention from the hip hop competition in 2002. Blak, the musically blessed of the duo was an instrumental part of the success of Safehouse Entertainment. Serving as a producer, A&R and part time manager spawned the rise of the Safehouse Squadron.

With a professional team around them, they are here to add new flavor to the hip hop industry. The first mixtape released under the Safehouse Entertainment brand sold over 4,000 copies in the UK and over 2,000 in the U.S. in the first two weeks of release through street promotion alone. Dividing their time between London, Miami and New York, the Hackney brothers and their crew have strong relations with the hip hop community both in the UK and in the U.S. Over the past year they have been recording their debut album “2 Sides Two Every Coin” and have built up valuable connections within the music industry to ensure its success.

The single “In Tha Ghetto“, was released under Safehouse Entertainment in August 2005 and came with a strong and positive message that reflected true optimism.

“We found inspiration through the lyrics of jay z and biggie smalls, but we're trying to talk to young people without preaching. They don't want to be told, but they will listen if it feels like it's coming from a friend,” says Bronz.

As much entrepreneurs as artists, Bronz n Blak are CEOs of their own label and have long term goals in their sites. They have already signed up a number of talented artists to Safehouse Entertainment , among them singer Chanelle (featured on “In Tha Ghetto”), and rappers T Cutta and Young Sav. They run a production company which includes Dirty 4oughts (whose production credits include the Roll Deep album and the classic joint "Back Against the Wall" feat. Nicole Wray (Rocafella). H Money, who produced "In Tha Ghetto," who has worked with artists like Jadakiss and Terror Squad.

Aside from numerous collaborations in the UK, they were the first British rappers to appear on a RZA album “The World According to RZA” and the first UK artists to record with Styles P of the Lox. They were also the first UK artists to lead to record deal negotiations with Rocafella Records.

Bronz-N-Blak has exhausted the hip hop industry in the U.K. and has set out to show that hip hop isn’t dead, it just moved.
