Brittini Black was born with music in her soul. According to her mother, Brittini started singing herself to sleep at age three. “It wasn’t just the fact that she was singing, she sang songs on pitch,” says Sandra Lee. At 8 years old, Brittini was singing harmonies. By age 12, as a member of mother-daughter duo Sandra Lee & Brittini, a plan had been mapped out to pursue a career in music. Over the next few years, Sandra Lee & Brittini opened for superstar country acts including Lonestar, Sammy Kershaw, Billy Ray Cyrus, Wade Hayes, Rick Trevino and Kenny Rogers. Three of their original songs received airplay on country radio stations on the west coast and one of the most memorable opportunities for the duo was opening for Diamond Rio at the world renowned Grand Ole Opry House.

Brittini was accepted to attend Belmont University – widely known for their prestigious music performance and music business programs – and moved to Nashville in 1999. Brittini began doing many solo projects and performances during her time at Belmont. She was selected to perform in both their Commercial Music and Country Music Showcases, and was then selected to perform in Belmont’s most prestigious showcase, “The Best of the Best” with alum Brad Paisley, held at the Ryman Auditorium. “I remember being completely amazed to be sharing the stage with him He was one of my absolute favorites! And at the Ryman?! That’s where they have the Opry! It was incredible.”

Providing her vocal talents for demos in Nashville, Brittini’s voice can be heard s up and down Music Row. She also has a love of expressing her feelings through her own songs, and has written with many of the greatest songwriters in town. She is a regular in the live music scene in Nashville, had a monthly show for 2 years at Douglas Corner called ‘BLACK MONDAYS’ and has performed at popular local venues including the world-renowned Bluebird Cafe, Douglas Corner, French Quarter, 3rd and Lindsley, Hard Rock Cafe, 12th and Porter and the Wildhorse Saloon. Brittini also plays a variety of instruments, including piano, flute, guitar and her newest passion- the mandolin.

Known for her extremely soulful vocals, Brittini hopes to add a new element to country music; one that blends all of her influences- ranging from Patsy Cline to Michael McDonald- together. “Music was the thing that made me feel comfortable with myself. It made me happy from the inside out. I want my music to speak to others the way the music I love speaks to me. It can bring light to your darkest day; hope when you feel lost. It’s like God loves to talk to us through music… straight off the radio!”
