Artist, songwriter, background vocalist and session singer, Brittany Allyn strikes many chords simultaneously for music lovers across genres with her CD, "Like a Butterfly".
"Like A Butterfly" is a musical kaleidoscope with hints of jazz, pop, country and blues. Featuring 12 tracks (10 originals), each colorful piece is instinctively arranged to reflect both Brittany's music today as well as that which has been ingrained in her musical memory since childhood.
Brittany has taken her inspiration from the music of artists like Dolly Parton, Patti Page, Emmylou Harris and Sarah Vaughn and her experience, first hand, from having toured as a background vocalist with George Jones, Lorrie Morgan and Toby Keith. She has appeared on several CD's and countless TV shows and specials with them as well as other artists including Allison Kraus, Willie Nelson and Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith.
Now, Brittany takes center stage with "Like A Butterfly". Produced by longtime collaborator, Chris Nole, the CD exhibits a vast and vivid range of vocal and instrumental emotion. With Brittany's voice as the centerpiece, Nole has captured and capitalized on all her influences, weaving them together to create a style and sound unique to Brittany Allyn. Brittany shares her gift - her passion in "Like a Butterfly" and to audiences nationwide.
