BRITE

„They sound (…) as if they did not come this region but wandered on the paths of the big, hip rock bands from the UK or Scandinavia that are cavorting the charts at the moment” wrote the Hildesheimer Allgemeine newspaper about the band BRITE.

With this sound they also convinced the jury of the John Lennon Talent Award 2008 / 2009, who chose BRITE to be amongst the top 15 out of more than 1100 applicants. In the course of the JLTA, they are now being coached for the next one and a half years.

When Basti, Marcel, Daniel, Felix and Joe start their show, they score with skilled songwriting, catchy Refrains and an energy that spills over to the audience instantaneously.



Whether in front of 20 or 2000 people, whether in their hometown Salzgitter or in Munich, these five always rock. This attitude was rewarded with four prices at the German Rock and Pop Award (Deutscher Rock & Poppreis) 2007 (1. Place “best rock singer”) and a triumph at the nationwide bandcontest “Stars In The City 2008” of producer Ole Sander (Jazzkantine). One shpuld be curious what happens to the guys on he time to come.

After more than 100 gigs in the last three years, they are off to the stages of the world again. This time they have their new EP “2.800.000” in their bag, which they recorded with producer Jens Krause (Fury In The Slaughterhouse) and contains eight songs full of energy.

Mit diesem Sound begeisterten die fünf charmanten Jungs auch die Jury des John Lennon Talent Awards 2008/2009, die sie aus über 1100 Bewerbern in die Runde der besten 15 aufnahm, wo sie für die nächsten anderthalb Jahre professionell gecoacht werden. Wenn Marcel, Basti, Daniel, Felix und Joe mit ihrer Show loslegen, kann man sich sicher sein in den nächsten paar Stunden richtig was auf die Ohren zu bekommen. Sie punkten durch geschicktes Songwriting, tolle Refrains und einer Energie die sich sofort auf das Publikum überträgt.



Egal ob vor 20 oder 2000 Leuten, in ihrer Heimatstadt Salzgitter oder in München, in Clubs oder auf Festivals. Man kann sicher sein, die Fünf geben stets ihr letztes Hemd. Belohnt wurde dieser Einsatz durch vier Preise beim Deutschen Rock- und Poppreis 2007 (1. Platz „Bester Rocksänger“) und den Sieg beim deutschlandweiten Bandcontest „Stars in the City 2008“ des Produzenten Ole Sander (Jazzkantine). Man darf also gespannt bleiben, was die Jungs in nächster Zeit erwarten wird.



Nach über 100 Auftritten in den letzten drei Jahren, geht es auch dieses Jahr wieder auf die Bühnen dieser Welt. Diesmal allerdings mit ihrer neuen EP „2.800.000“ im Gepäck, die sie mit Produzent Jens Krause (Fury in the Slaughterhouse) aufgenommen haben und acht energiegeladene und emotionale BRITE-Songs enthält.
