Shipshape And Bristol Fashion was formed in late 2006 to bring a new sound to a mirrored music scene. Influenced by Every Time I Die, Underoath, Maylene, & He Is Legend, they break the mold of their local genres. Although they are young and based out of a nowhere town, they have grown throughout Southern California as a band worth noticing.
Recently earning a slot on the 2007 Vans Warped Tour in Ventura, they gained an even bigger Southern California following. Shipshape is recently coming off of playing California Cornerstone Festival with Underoath, Maylene, Emery, Anberlin and many more bands. They have shared the stage with national touring acts such as The Chariot, Misery Signals, Born Of Osiris, Sky Eats Airplanes, The Human Abstract, My American Heart, Mikoto, Her Candane, Underminded, The Agony Scene, A Day To Remember, The Confession, Dear Life, Gwen Stacy, Divide The Day, It Prevails and many more.
Shipshape finished recording their debut E.P. entitled "The Outcome." with Kris Comeaux of Lorene Drive, which was released in December 2007. The band was recently chosen by AP Magazine to be in the unsigned artist showcase in the AP&R column for the January issue 235, which will showcase Paramore on the cover. The band just returned from a 2 week, 12 state tour with Write This Down and Long Beach-native The Greenery. They plan to work extremely hard & put on an highly energetic show for every crowd they perform for. With a defying sound and great live show, Shipshape And Bristol Fashion show a promising future ahead of them.
