Huge thanks to everyone who came out to the release party, it seemed like a good time was had by all. The latest is called "Foundation" and thank you so much to Lindsey for the lovely extra voice. You can hear her amazing new tracks at myspace.com/lindseynadolski. I'm starting to arrange shows and an open mic schedule so please be on the lookout for all that. Thanks

9. What Seems

I decided to open this album with "you had to see" because it fits much better on this collection of songs than the last one plus it was recorded long after the rest of the songs on "small hours". "Daylight Blues" is the full band version and the rest are new ones I've been playing. Everything was recorded with one mic in either my basement at home in Vermont or in Ithaca and I'll be pressing copies by the end of the month. You better believe that everyone I have ever encountered is going to get a copy or at least get one thrown at them. I hope you enjoy and upcoming shows will be posted the second they're booked solid.

I'm finishing up a new set of songs- not sure what to call it yet but in the meantime "Saw Through Wood" is the latest. Also I'm trying to put together a band to do some shows so if anyone's insteresting and around my areas please let me know. peace

A little while ago I received a message that said there was already an indie/pop band from the early 90s called Brighter. I didn't give it much thought as they are long since disbanded, but I guess they were pretty good and well liked enough for this guy to let me know. Last night I realized that the name really holds no value to me and it was just a quick makeshift title that Tristan and me thought of while we were focusing on two other bands. Now that this has become my sole source of musical output, I've decided to change the name to something much more original and significant to me. The Bell Drive.

I've also put up a new full version of the "Daylight Blues"

Here are a couple new songs I've been playing lately, "Spindle City" and "Coast is Clear"

The Bell Drive has become the solo/collaborative musical representation of the mind behind the eyes of ben roque.
