Kevin Soares also known as Kevin S., was born to Portuguese immigrant parents, on September 1, 1989, in Elizabeth, NJ. Growing up Kevin was fascinated with music and has been surrounded by uncles and cousins with a deep passion for music since birth. At the age of 15 he began to experiment with HipHop, and over a four year period develop his style and sound producing over 150 instrumentals and wor.king on a vast amount of projects, with upcoming and established HipHop artists.
Taking his earnings from production at 19, Kevin, began to experiment with DJing, where he found electronic music. In a matter of months he shifted his style from HipHop, to the groovy driving sounds of house and techno, where he felt much more comfortable. Kevin has since developed his sound into a mixture of deep techy grooves and rhythms, which is visible in both his production & DJing style. Having released on such labels as Nervous Records, Soulman Music, Southside Recordings, Land of Voodoo Recordings and soon on Stereo Productions, he wishes to continue to grow and develop his sound.
