Brian Robinson

Brian Robinson was born Aug. 4, and was raised in Lower Florence County in the small community of Coward in rural South Carolina. He attended public school in Lake City, S.C. During Brian's years of education he was a member of the Junior High and High School Choirs. During this time he was given the opportunity by those who believed in him and those who recognized his vocal talent to hone his ability. The South Carolina Honors Choir recognized Brian for his vocal talent as well. This proved that not only Brian's family and friends could see that he had talent, but also bigger, more noteable people. Growing up in the church, he found himself singing and playing piano. This is when the hunger to sing and play music started to surface within him. As He grew, his musical talent also grew. Although he had no formal training he learned to play many musical instruments, to include guitar, percussions and keyboards. Shortly after high school, at the age of 17 Brian started his own band, which played for local events and special occasions. He began to try his hand at song writing at this stage of his musical development. During this time he also discovered that being a professional musician was what he really wanted to focus on for a career. And performing in front of a live audience was his greatest thrill. He was electrified by the energy of the crowd and how he had the ability to bring out so many emotions in others through his voice and songs. Although Brian enjoys all genres of music, Country music is his true music of choice. He considers Merle Haggard, Delbert McClinton, Travis Tritt and Keith Whitley as some of his strongest musical influences. During the tragedy of 9/11, Brian along with one of his good friends and band member, were inspired to sit down and put their feelings onto paper. As a result, this proved to produce such an amazing song by the name of "Ground Zero". This hit home with so many other individuals and it was so vocally and emotionally incredible that the 2nd largest radio station in Brian's area began to play it on a syndicated radio show. Brian has traveled to Nashville on several occasions to record some of his works and to network with other musicians and record with prominent Nashville industry insiders. Also this has afforded him the opportunity to meet and work with some of the top songwriters in the industry. The opportunities that Brian has experienced up to this point, with even more major buzz, he credits to God. Currently he is lead singer of a very popular local band called “Crow Jayne”. Crow Jayne plays many events around the state of S.C. Brian looks forward to continuing his career in music and entertaining his listeners and to become the best songwriter and singer that he can possibly be.
