SHORT BIO:
Most artists have their big break in their home-country before trying to go international. Twentyseven year-old Brian is the exception to that rule. His first hit "Loving You Still" peaked the charts and was a huge hit in Germany. Back in his home-country he quickly signed a deal with Face-Up Records Netherlands in late 2004. Unfortunately the indie label stopped existing after only a short period of time and left Brian without a record-company and some kind of proper guidance. After doing numerous solo gigs, some work as a backingvocalist for Do (vocalist on Dj Sammy & Yanou's classic "Heaven" remake), being on some some TV shows and doing radio-jingles and TV-leaders for companies such as Talpa he quickly rolled back into the music buisiness and started a new adventure.
THIS TIME AROUND, HE WAS ON HIS OWN
Brian started working with hit producers such as Simon van Amerongen (Anouk's "Sacrifice") and Boj De Jong. He started releasing songs independently. After some moderate hits, the track "My Goodbye" really hit the bigtime. Two videos were recorded and it was remixed by the likes of Arenna, Orangefuzzz and Rain-King. The track was a worldwide succes. Next up is the catchy club banger "Tell Me What It's Like", which is available digitally and features remixes by Edson Pride, Cabin Crew, Arenna and Magnus Virdeborn.
NOT BAD
Not bad at all, for a guy from the Netherlands who decided to trade in his welding skills for a microphone at age seventeen. The word average just isn't in Brian's vocabulary. He's a perfectionist and is always trying to hit that one note better than the last time. In the end, it always seems to work out. Brian's soulful vocal delivers songs with a down-to-earth twist, yet with international allure and potential.
