I'm originally from North Carolina, but have lived in Stockholm, Sweden for the past 17 years. I attended the Berklee College of Music and also studied in NYC with pianist Bill O' Connell. Right now I work as a free-lance songwriter and have had songs recorded by Swedish artists; Björn Skifs, Nils Landgren, Viktoria Tolstoy, Jill Johnson, Johan Becker, Magnus Backlund, Mia Lofgren, Anders Johansson, Lena Philipsson, Excellence, Style, Monica Silverstrand and many others. In Japan, my songs have been recorded by Japanese superstars such as Arashi, News and Miz. In 1998 I co-wrote and produced the album, ALABASTER NIGHTS, featuring the duo, Charlotte Berg and Dea Norberg. In 2003, I produced my first solo instrumental album, IMPRESSIONS OF THE OUTER BANKS, about that area of my home state, North Carolina. Currently I'm writing a musical based on the life of North Carolina newspaper editor, W. O. Saunders and his newspaper, The Independent. It's a facinating topic; this man was so far ahead of his time. I hope to post some exerpts from the score sometime this autumn.
