Breaking Sundown completely formed on October 11th 2007. Previously known as Sound War City, Breaking Sundown consists of three original members of Sound War City, with two new additions. The members of the band are: Billy Hatchet as screams and guitar, Benny Rage on drums, Fish-X on bass, and Olivia Rubens as the lead voice of the band (also a new addition). Breaking Sundown draws inspiration from many different kinds of music and genres, taking tastes and experiences from everyone and trying to combine their individual sounds to create a beautiful, and hypnotizing form of Melodic Post Hardcore Metal.
