B.Raw : Rapper

Birth Name:B.Raw lol!!

Birth Date: 7789

Birth Place: Philadelphia Pa.

Education: High School Graduate

Genre: Hip Hop/Rap?Rockn Roll

B.Raw was born in Philadelphia Pa. July 7, 198? to Linda Fauntleroy and the late Jackie Fauntleroy. By the time B.Raw was 2 months old he was given to his Aunt Laura Mitchell and since then he grew to know her as his mother, it wasn’t until he was 10 when he found out who his biological mother was. With that devastating information B.Raw changed from a nice young man to being called “Dennis The Menace”. At the same age (10) he came to know who his father was but it was until the October of 1999 on a cold morning that B.Raw found his father dead that also put stress on his life, that made him feel that there wasn’t anything to live for. B.Raw has 24 brothers and sisters, and out of all of those siblings he’ s second to the youngest. Out of the last five(brothers) he was the only one wasn’t put into foster care.

B.Raw was inspired to rap by his older brother Antwan ” Platinum Pig” Butler a.k.a. Twon Papes who was one half of the Philly known rap group the “Odd Couple” he was really impressed by his brothers accomplishments that it made him want to rap too but he never really took it serious. B.Raw got his own ear for rap back when he was 12 when he and his former partner Terrell Cleveland a.k.a. Rell formed the dynamic duo rap group called “Double Trouble”. With B.Raw’s raspy but catchy voice and Rell’s flow they were labeled hood celebrities. When Rell went down Georgia to stay with his father B. Raw tried rapping by his self not knowing how hard it was, he was challenged by many rappers to battles, open mic, shows etc. It was until he found his right hand man D. Medlock a.k.a. Dime Weezy and formed a group called “ Nic 8 W8t”. B.Raw and Dime Weezy took the hood by surprise when they smashed opponent after opponent in rap battles and made a anthem around 58 st. self titled “Nic 8 W8t”. One day Dime Weezy found a studio located in West Philly where the family known as Express Entertainment was formed and B.Raw was named Speaker of the House. As he grew into his voice and developed a stronger flow more and more as the days went on he Dime Weezy, and M. ”Matic” Mobley(founder) expanded the group by scouting two flaming hot brothers Gerald Taylor a.k.a. G Staxx and S. Dillard a.k.a. Shizzy Mac and it wasn’t too much longer until we recruited M. Van Loan a.k.a. Mike V and the dynasty was complete.

B. Raw gets his motivation to write more and more because of his favorite rapper/mentor Shawn Carter a.k.a. Jay Z.

B. Raw completed his debut mixtape “The Warrior” which hit the streets and stores January 5, 2007 with smash hits Philly Jungle ft. Shizzy Mac, 5 Different Chicks, and his crazy crazy song/life story “Suicide”, which talks about him killing himself because of his tragedies, obstacles, challenges, etc. that he had to overcome growing up. When B.Raw raps he tries to reach the mind, heart, and souls of everyone, kids, adults, men, women of all races and ages and let them know what he goes through on a day 2 day basis and give them some type of picture of how his life really is.

B.Raw recently signed with YaBoy(the west coast's finest) independent label Precise Music Group. He will be dropping his first mixtape under the label on January 4,2008.

Now with B. Raw being under Precise Music Group he can showcase his talent on a more pofessional level.

As long as I keep moving at a steady pace, keep my head up, and stay focused I should have a very bright future.

“With time comes hard work and if you don’t have the time and a strong work ethic this isn’t the game you want to get into“.
