Originally formed in 2006, the 3-piece Dallas based group known as "Brass Connection" has been combining the soul of the Memphis Horns, the sound of the Phoenix Horns, and distinct on-stage choreography that brings listeners, audiences, and artists around the country a horn section like no other. Composed of top-call musicians, Brass Connection is routinely called on to compose, arrange, and record in every facet of music by heightening any musical experience with pinpoint accurate horn section playing, and even adding choreographed on-stage theatrics! As educators, Brass Connection delivers exciting master classes, demonstrating techniques for brass playing, section playing, intonation, improvisation, as well as clinics on composition and arranging, and horn part writing in various styles. Most recently, in 2007, Brass Connection began "Off-Site Recording", which, through our extensive work with Thomas Woods Music, allows us to work conjunctively with any artist from virtually anywhere in the world.
