Brandy Anderson

Brandy has been singing as long as she has been walking and talking. Her first live performance was in the second grade talent show, where she sang "Tomorrow" from the popular musical "Annie."



That experience was powerful enough to shape the path for the rest of her life. She performed at every possible opportunity throughout school, including being awarded numerous scholarships and attending music workshops annually to perfect her craft.



She received a vocal scholarship to Appalachian State University, where she studied voice and obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Communications with a minor in Vocal Performance.



Following graduation, she toured the Southeast as the soprano voice for a Southern Gospel Quartet named "Pure Heart." Shortly after, she relocated to Nashville to pursue music full time.



Since coming to Nashville, she has been a regular down on Broadway playing at most of the venues there, including Crossroads, Full Moon Saloon, Paradise Park, Second Fiddle, Legends, The Stage and Tootsie's. She has also played various other clubs in and around Nashville. She had the honor of competing in the Colgate Country Showdown in 2008 and 2009.



As a songwriter, she has frequented most of the open mic nights around town, including Douglas Corner, Crossroads, and the French Quarter, and has been invited back several times to play the Sunday night writer's night at the world famous "Bluebird Cafe."



While working a full time job to keep her dream alive, Brandy is focusing on song writing and gathering material from other song writers in the area for her first solo album.
