The BQE Band (Black Quorum Ent.) is one of the most exhilarating and groundbreaking bands ever to come out of the Caribbean/NYC. The BQE Band was formed in 1996 by a group of versatile, dynamic and highly creative mixture of musicians. BQE Band heralded in a new and much needed resurgence of live music and created a new wave in soca / calypso music. The Band is NYC based and consists of musicians from many different islands, each bringing their own special touch to that great sound you hear!



The BQE Band has successfully completed 3 albums "At The Crossroads", "Revolution In De Moddle" and "The Real Deal". The Band has performed at West Indian Carnivals in Miami, Washington, Virginia, New Jersey, Connecticut, Canada, Atlanta, NYC, St.Kitts and Nevis just to name a few.With its irrepressible beat, sweet melody and musical performance, this Band has been tearing up the airwaves here in the USA and in the Caribbean where we like to call "back home".
