Bourbon Break

Bourbon Break was formed in January 2005 around Toon (Blowberries , Freeloaders), Andy (NCC, Freeloaders) and Ieds (Covalent).

During first jams, some base-riffs of current songs were already discovered



After jamming for awhile, the long and exhausting search for a drummer began.

Some drummers came and went until Antoni (Buksus) responded to an add in April.

After only one jam-session everyone just knew this was the formation for Bourbon Break to continue with.



Starting august 2005, Bourbon Break moves in to its own place in an old textile factory in Melsele.

From now on, rehearsals can be recorded which will lead to a much more constructive way of working on new material.



Around the same time, first shows are played in Beveren-Waas (Gavelandfestival 2005 & Beverse Feesten 2005).

Both shows received great comments from both audience as organisation. Actually much better reactions then everybody had hoped for



In June 2006, Bourbon Break finally booked some recording time in Midas Studio Lokeren (Hooverphonic, DeLaVega, )

Four of the songs where re-analysed, produced and recorded.



With very different backgrounds and musical influences, Bourbon Break constantly keeps working on new songs.

All songs are build around cutting edge power-riffs, carried by a funky rhythm section.



Bourbon Break likes keeping its live reputation very high

After playing live for only one year, they succeeded in organising a very successful demo-presentation and, one of their personal favourites, opening for Triggerfinger at Gaverlandfestival 2006.



As all Bourbon Break-members consider music as something way more important than just a hobby, the search for Booking Agencies and Managers started September 2006 and is still going on as we speak.
