In every aspect, Boston is major when it comes down to sports, education and technology. Undeniably, athletes all around the world, dream of any one of Boston’s Multi-World Championship Teams. Students flock to Boston to attend it’s prestigious colleges and universities. Yet for many years, the industry has continuously overlooked Boston rappers. So many artists with great potential have struggled trying to start their careers and gain national exposure. That old pattern is about to change because the Champs are Here! This dynamic duo would like to formally introduce themselves to the mainstream as Scoe and Magnum…and they are bringing their city with them!

25 year-old cousins Roscoe Eutsay and Lamar Wright have spent the better part of their lives residing in St. Joseph’s Housing Development in Roxbury, MA. often described as the roughest and toughest of the 14 neighborhoods that make up the the “Bean” as natives call it. Living in the ‘Hood has prepared Scoe and Magnum to carry the weight of legitimizing Boston’s Rap scene, on their shoulders. Through the “Scoe and Magnum Movement”, Boston will soon be known and widely respected for its’ music, specifically the Gansta Rap and Hip Hop genres. Scoe and Magnum will end the negative perception about Boston rappers around the country with their hard-core explicit content, punchlines and flawless delivery.

These two young men make no excuses about their storied pasts. In spite of all that they have endured growing up hard, and the mistakes along the way, they know how high the stakes are. Scoe has a daughter and Magnum has a son. Because they grew up in the same religious and musically-talented family, they also share common family values. Scoe and Magnum want to be role models for their children and admit that their family is depending on them. Scoe admits to being extremely vocal and rambunctious, while Magnum is dangerously quiet with a more composed demeanor. Scoe and Magnum were exposed to the business aspect of the music industry with the past successes and failures of their family members’ careers. Both Scoe and Magnum have had to face obstacles with previous projects, including Scoe’s investment in Royal Line Entertainment and Magnum’s affiliation with the Block Execs. When neither of those situations panned out, it was a joint decision to “keep it in the family”.

They soon realized that their styles and deliveries complimented each other and immediately began working together. Scoe and Magnum have an undeniable gift to create songs together that are relevant in today’s market. They transport a futuristic sound while giving a different mixture of things that have been done in the past, all at once. Thus, resulting in a superior and universally accepted product. Scoe and Magnum’s DJ Babyface won 2008’s Mixtape of the Year at the Urban Music Awards for their collaboration “Hate It or Love It” Volume I. This solidifies that they have the staying power necessary to maintain their authenticity and longevity in the game. Scoe and Magnum headlined the Boston Marathon Showcase Volume’s I & II with their songs “Check My Resume” and “Shorty Like This” the unofficial single. “Go Hard” will be the first single distributed from Scoe and Magnum’s long-awaited album to record companies.

SCOE was born and raised in the streets of Boston (Roxbury to be exact). Growing up his father was lead guitar player for The Black Axxess Band, but as a child music just didn't spark his interest. As he grew into a young man he soon realized that music was his heart's content. At the age of 13 he moved to Delaware with his mother where he lived for 4 years. During this time he linked up with 1st State Entertainment and made a name for himself in the Tri-State area by entering into various freestyle battles and later becoming featured on several different mixtapes. After finishing up high school he moved back to Boston where he collaborated with several local artists such as Corna Pocket, Doj and Sam Staxx . Now with a solid foundation on the music scene, he and his cousin Beans established Imperial Music Group in 2004. As well as working on his own career he also produced and was a featured artist on projects for Poizon, Myles J. Story any many others . But thats not all, he has opened up shows for established artists such as Dead Prez, Mr. Cheeks and Akanel and he also performed shows with local promoters such as Leedz Edutainment , Critical Breakdown , Smo Money Ent. , Divas Production , Horton Entertainment and more. Though unsigned he has managed to keep his name alive behind the scenes producing tracks for Magnum, Myles J. Story and other up and coming artists.” Listen to Me Speak” , his solo debut album, is the first of many projects due to be released on his independent record label Skitso Entertainment .
