Barraca da Bossa plays stripped-down versions of Bossa Nova classics and other Brazilian rarities. Drawing on the influences of musicians such as João Gilberto and Tom Jobim, the duo's music maintains Bossa Nova's original vibe, samba-inspired rhythms and Portuguese lyrics. This is acoustic music that evokes the pulse of tropical waves on a sun-drenched beach, as well as flowing melodies for "quiet nights of quiet stars."
