Bontempi Combo / Console Organ - Video
PUBLISHED:  Feb 17, 2012
DESCRIPTION:
This Bontempi organ is different then most of the models I've seen. It has analog oscillators rather then air driven reeds. I'm guessing it's from 1970's or early 80's. There is a 3 octave keyboard. The case is completely made of brown plastic (typical Bontempi) and overal size measures 35"x12". The sound reminds me a lot of the budget combos that came out in the 70's like the melosonic organs. I can't find anything online, so I'm guessing they are pretty uncommon. BTW: I also modded the lfo circuit, so there are some bending possibilities here.

It originally came with a plastic base "console" that screwed into the bottom of the organ. It was fake wood and made the organ into a "console" model. There were no electronics in the base and it was just a lot of unusable space. When I opened it up, I was suprised to see the entire organ was complete and was only screwed into the base with 4 screws. So it was very easy to remove and make it much more portable.
