– Bokor –

”And I saw the earth, the bright dry crust of the Land. The barren roads to my City, lined with swollen saviours. All them dead Sun Gods soon grinded to dust, their skulls like white marbles in the grey desert. Scattered teeth to play with, telling no fortunes. And all souls prayed for the Drought to end.

And so, when Rain fell at last, the earth came to life. The eggs hatched, the larvae and pupae yielded their treasures, legion. Buried in the mud ages ago, the offspring flooded. And all Edens, Babylons, Atlantises, Jerusalems, Purgatories and Gehennas alike were lost. A human is nothing. All harvests gone, no skin between you and the Swarm.”

- Liber Generatio Spontanea

Bokor's debut album "Anomia 1" was released in January 2007 . Recorded in different studios, among them Studio Endarker by ”Devo” Andersson from Marduk, the album introduced Bokors music to the world. From the hallucinations of ”Best Trip” and the prophesies of ”Crawl: The Sermons and Dreams of John Duncan Thunstall”, to the long dark dream about World War One in ”Migrating”, it was meant to be a strange and heavy journey. "Anomia 1" recieved a lot of critical acclaim and have since found it's way to a dedicated audience in Europe and worldwide.

Now new album has been released; October 24th 2008, November 14th in Scandinavia, again on Scarlet Records. The album is called "Vermin Soul". More of the dark things that crawl in the forgotten corners of the mind. Produced by guitarist Thomas Eriksson and singer Lars Carlberg, recorded in Realtime Recording, mastered by Peter in de Betou. In the end, though, all children know where spiders come from.
