The Body Bags

Risen from the depths of Charlotte, NC formed a new era of horror punk. The Body Bags started in early 2006 just writing music and playing a couple small shows, but not many. By summer of 2007 they had formed their sound and started playing as many shows as they could, gaining fast exposure in the Carolina's. A year later they released a Self-Titled EP and on Feb. 14, 2009 released their first full-length album "Modern Monsters." Since the release of their EP, and even more so their full album, they have gained exposure all over the world and have been featured in magazine's, such as Rue Morgue Magazine. Rue Morgue referred to them as "Scream-along Horror Punk."
