Bob Antone

Bob Antone is a wood carver, painter, designer, composer and musician born and raised in the Snoqualmie Valley. His family has a history in the Seattle area since the 1870's. During the last twenty years, Bob has worked closely with various ethnic communities residing naturally in the area. He has known and collaborated with Snoqualmie Tribal members since 1997. As a child he listened to stories, legends, jokes, and tall tales from his grandparents and other senior members living near the timber communities of North Bend and Snoqualmie. Loggers, railroaders, Native American legends, stories from the woods and train hopping during the great depression were common themes for Bob growing up. He enjoys playing violin, fiddle, Irish drum, musical saw, singing and playing guitar, writing original songs and performing traditional music. Contact him at: bobantone@hotmail.com or 425-270-4747
