Formed in 2000 in Nyon, Switzerland, BLOWN was set up to conquer the world with a merciless blend of modern hardcore and old school metal. Known as to be a ''war machine'' because of their intense and ferocious live shows, BLOWN pushes the boundaries of their style even further with their highly anticipated full length ''Into Shadows Of Fear'' released by Subversiv Records in Fall 2007. 12 tracks of bonecrushing heavy metal hardcore mixed by Jacob Bredahl at Smart nHard, Denmark (Purified In Blood, HateSphere, Machinemade God) and mastered by Ue Nastasy at Sterling Sound, New York (Bioharzard, Sepultura, Fear Factory). The breathtaking video ''Life Of Wounds'' accompaning the release is the living proof that time has come for the war machine to enter the battlefield.
After BLOWN's debut full length ''Spreading Seeds'' (Condor Records/Disques Office) released in 2002, they performed numerous shows, were aired on various radio stations, appeared on international compilations, were broadcasted on MTV's Headbangers Ball (Denmark) and on Swiss national TV several times. BLOWN shared stages in Germany, France and Switzerland with bands such as FIRST BLOOD (usa), FULL BLOWN CHAOS (usa), THIS IS HELL (usa), PRO PAIN (usa), CATARACT (ch), NO TURNING BACK (nl), FEAR MY THOUGHTS (d), 25 TA LIFE (usa), BORN FROM PAIN (nl), ZERO MENTALITY (d), GALLOWS (uk) to name a few. BLOWN played fests like Paléo Festival Nyon and Long I Rock Festival in Longirod 2010.
But finally and most importantly they reached a musical maturity. ''Into Shadows Of Fear'' (Subversiv Records/Irascible) is definitly the most dark and brutal material released by the band so far.
