I Bloom 06 nascono nel 2006 e sono un duo composto da Maurizio Lobina e Gianfranco Randone, meglio noti in passato come Maury e Jeffrey degli EIFFEL 65.
Negli ultimi 16 anni hanno scritto e prodotto un centinaio di canzoni per sè stessi e per altri artisti, applicando costantemente innovazioni sonore a canzoni di matrice pop e sviluppando un percorso originalissimo nel mondo della musica pop elettronica con influenze dance.
La loro storia, e successi come “Blue”, “Move Your Body”, “Too Much Of Heaven” e l’album “Europop”, li hanno portati a vendere 15 milioni di dischi in tutto il mondo, raggiungendo le Top Charts di 28 Paesi tra cui: Francia,Inghilterra,Spagna e gli USA (dove gli Eiffel 65 restano tuttora l’unica band italiana ad aver mai raggiunto il traguardo dei top 5 con un album) e ottenendo decine di dischi di platino,oro e diamante.
A tutto ciò si aggiungono più di mille concerti e apparizioni radio/TV (molte delle quali di prestigio mondiale) e numerosi riconoscimenti autorevoli, come la nomination ai Grammy Awards per la miglior canzone dance o il premio ai World Music Awards in qualità di artisti italiani più venduti nel mondo.
Dopo “Contact” (2001) e l’album “Eiffel 65” (2003), che segna una svolta nei testi, per la prima volta tutti in italiano (che li ha portati a partecipare al Festival di Sanremo nel 2003), “Maury” Lobina e “Jeffrey” Randone hanno riposto definitivamente nell’armadio i panni degli Eiffel 65 per entrare in quelli dei BLOOM 06 e dare vita ad una nuova realtà musicale che debutta con l’album “Crash Test 01”, che esce sulla neo-etichetta Blue Boys per Universal Music Italia il 13 ottobre 2006 da cui vengono estratti due singoli “In The City” e “Per Sempre” seguiti da rispettivi video.
Nell’Estate del 2007 il duo torna a remixare 2 grandi artisti del panorama italiano: Vasco Rossi e Zucchero (“Basta Poco” e “Un Kilo”).
A Maggio 2008 esce "Un'altra Come Te", il primo singolo di "Crash Test 02", seguito dal video e distribuito edel Italia.
Il nuovo album rappresenta il riavvicinamento della band al DancePop. L’uscita di “Crash Test 02” registra una buona posizione nella classifica dei top download di Itunes. Nell'estate 2008 segue la produzione di tre Showcase a Milano, Roma e Firenze con un repertorio d’entrambi gli album ma anche alcuni successi degli Eiffel 65 rivisitati in chiave Bloom 06 (come Blue, Too Much Of Heaven, Move Your Body). Nell’Estate del 2008, “Welcome to the zoo” viene scelta dallo zoo di 105 come sigla del programma radiofonico pomeridiano più seguito d’Italia, nel frattempo la band è alle prese con alcuni remix come “Pop Porno” de Il Genio per Universal.
Tutto ciò porta alla pubblicazione di “Club Test 01”, un progetto che inaugura una serie di EP ideati per la pista che in questo primo capitolo contempla qualche remix di alcuni brani di "Crash Test 02" e il remake 2008 di "Blue (Da Ba Dee).
Nel Gennaio 2009 esce “Being not like you” (versione inglese di “Un’altra come te”) in Svizzera e Austria e si posiziona in nuova entrata al nr^4 e al nr^8 delle classifiche dance dei DJ, mentre “Club Test 01” raggiunge il nr^3 della classifica italiana della Nielsen dei singoli (fisici+download) legati alle uscite indipendenti e in Germania esce “Crash Test 02”.
A seguire la pubblicazione in molte altre nazioni e tra queste gli UK grande roccaforte della musica nel mondo.
Attualmente la band è impegnata nella produzione del terzo album, la promozione internazionale e alcuni show nei club.

Bloom 06 forms in 2006 with the two members Maury Lobina and Gianfranco Randone, better known as Maury and Jeffrey of Eiffel 65.
In the past 16 years they have written and produced over 100 songs for themselves and other artists, constantly combining sound innovations and pop songs developing an original concept in the Electro music scene with dance influences genre.
Their career and hits like "Blue", "Move Your Body", "Too Much Of Heaven" and the album "Europop" have collected results like 15 million copies sold worldwide and the highest chart positions in 28 countries of the world like France, UK, Spain and the USA (where Eiffel 65 is still considered the only Italian band to go top 5 with an Album.) winning dozens of platinum, gold and diamond records
To sum to these results are about a thousand concerts and countless radio/TV shows and numerable awards like a Grammy Awards nomination for the best dance song and the award as the best selling Italian band at the World Music Awards in Monte Carlo.
After "Contact" (2001) and the album "Eiffel 65" (2003), which is the bands only Italian lyrics album (that brought them to the TV show Sanremo Festival 2003), Maurizio "Maury" Lobina and Gianfranco "Jeffrey" Randone permanently drop their Eiffel 65 suites to wear the Bloom 06 fresh clothes creating a new musical project that debuts with the album titled "Crash Test 01" released on the new-born label "Blue Boys" for Universal Music Italia the 13th of October 2006 and the two singles/videos extracted “In The City” and “Per Sempre”.
In Summer 2007 the duo remix 2 of the greatest Italian music scene artists: Vasco Rossi’s summer hit “Basta Poco” and Zucchero’s smash single “Un Kilo”.
In May 2008 they release “Un’altra Come Te”, the first single and video of “Crash Test 02”, for edel Italia. The new album represents a step towards the dance music scene again for the band. “Crash Test 02” scores rapidly a high position in the iTunes top download charts. In summer 2008 the band plays live in three showcases in Milan, Rome and Florence with a repertoire of both albums and some great Eiffel 65 hits (like Blue, Too Much of Heaven, Move Your Body) re-arranged in a new Bloom 06 style. That same summer “Welcome to the zoo” becomes the official soundtrack of one of the most important Italian radio shows “The Zoo” on Radio 105 while the band is at work with some remixes like “Il Genio - Pop Porno” distributed by Universal.
All this leads to “Club Test 01”… an EP sequel project, made for the clubs, that includes remixes of some “Crash Test 02” songs and the smash hit “Blue (Da Ba Dee)” Bloom 06 2008 remake. In January they release “Being not like you” (the English version of “Un’altra come te”) in Switzerland, Austria with a chart position of 4 and 8 in the DJ charts. “Club Test 01” hits n.3 of the official Nielsen Italian single charts (both download and CD) and “Crash Test 02” is released in Germany. Shortly after Bloom 06 move on to the UK market which is one of the most important in the world.
At the moment the band is working on their third album, international promotion and some club gigs.
