Blind Joe: North Dakota's Outlaw Country Son

The rowdy non-stop rebel soul that is Blind Joe is as infectious as a night of Jack Daniels and a few Hank Williams songs on the jukebox. Coming from nowhere to being one of the most successful musicians in the Minnesota/North Dakota area was not what he expected. Nevertheless, in just 4 short years, this 28 year old singer/songwriter has shared the stage with numerous top local and regional acts, as well as national recording artists such as David Allan Coe, Craig Morgan, John Anderson, J.B. Beverley and the Wayward Drifters, Bret Michaels of Poison, and many more.

Recording an album a year for the past three years, 'People Like Me,' 'Soul Singin' Son of a Bitch,' and 'Warm Whiskey, Cold Beer' have already sold well over 10,000 copies. The new 6 pack, 'Where the Hell Are All the Honky Tonks', was released in late 2010. Recorded at Woodfire Studios in Gibson City, IL with songs including "Pity Don't Get Ya Paid", "Where the Hell Are All the Honky Tonks", and "Red Neck, White Trash, Blue Collar Boy", it promises to be the best Blind Joe album to date.

After four unbelievable tours, playing to thousands of fans in bars, theatres, and arenas, he has sold massive amounts of merchandise and become a staple in the music community. Although if you asked him, he would humbly tell you, "I'm just bringin' that good shit back".

To help promote the new 6 pack, Blind Joe and the crew (his wife, Riki and brother in law, Migel) will be heading back out on the road for another tour in 2011.

With his quick witted sense of humor, original country music and energetic stage presence, Blind Joe is tapping his way quickly into the hearts and minds of people all over the United States. And in case you're wondering, YES, he really is blind :)
