The hype of religion is what Jesus crawled up onto that cross to free us from. He offers a gift which if we accept is accompanied by both relationship with God the Father and priesthood. We need stop at no circular bondage of man-invented barrier to reach God once we accept His gift. We just walk the walk and do the deal with no tolls to pay, hurdles to jump or bond-servants in tow. Feel the love, live the simple love and reveal His love! His grace and His grace alone is sufficient for us all. They will know we are Christians by our love. Let's re-make our gratitude lists each day and His Church's countenance will shine His grace. Pride shuts out & condemns but Grace welcomes the burdened to a place of God-centered rest in the here and now.

It is who we are in this very breath that determines most who we will be in our next. Be delighted for this moment is His and He shares it with us right now! Carpe diem ~

Our vision is simple: It's about Revolution. Restoring integrity to the Church. The liberal churches have embraced consumerism. With few exceptions they have proudly distorted and applied selected portions of the law (tithing). {See Galatians 5:1-4} With this hard left turn, they have diminished faith and surrendered all Godly power. In the ensuing vacuum of confusion, scattered sheep are falling for hype and sorcery. Integrity can return only when Bible truths supercede doctrines of men. This is why Jesus turned over the tables guys! It seems that the world has changed the Church and made it commercial, legalistic and stingy. We have to change that! In Spirit and in truth, the Church can free the world. Let the revolution start in you! Give without concern for percentages or returns. Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom!

Our ministry is home based here in Hallsville, TX. Our home church is Resurrection Fellowship Church at 107 Ruthlynn Drive in Longview, Texas. Ruthlynn is Just South of Mundt Music (next street after Hollybrook on right. There's a shoe repair place called "Cobblestone" on the corner where you turn onto Ruthlynn.) We're the second building in - next to Fritz's Restaurant. We meet at 10:30 Sunday mornings and 7PM on Wednesdays.

We help with the worship team at RFC. It's a terrific little church. RFC is all about the work of equipping the saints to develop and release their God given talents and giftings. We love visitors! Pop in anytime. We meet up for music and a message at 10:30 each Sunday morning. Some churches "hold" services. We let the service go. Our Pastor is Dennis Elliott. He's way cool. It ain't no Amway pep rally environment where you're judged by the thickness of your wallet instead of the content of your character. This is the real stuff, real people, and really terrific Bible based teaching. Fun, challenging and refreshing!
Jesus Christ has broken your chains! Let go and let God. Jesus is coming!

SWEAT NOT THE VALIDATION OF MAN. JUST DO THE DEAL ~ No parachute required!
People often ask, "What's your best song?" I answer, "Good Shepherd - of course!" The song is great because it is well constructed, has a substantial crescendo, (especially in the hip-hop version which is yet to be recorded) but moreover; the song is just straight to the point. Jesus is the Good Shepherd worthy of our praise, worthy of our trust, and worthy of our full bore dedication. The verses which inspired the lyrics are straight out of Ezekiel 34 and John 10. Stop here, look them up! You'll fast learn that Jesus Christ is the salvation of all whom He draws. If you feel drawn but you're, "Not there yet", then I suggest you Read these Chapters and reflect on who you think Jesus is. It does not require much study at all to understand who Jesus is. He is FREEDOM!

Below I have copied part of a direct quote from Jesus that I found in Luke 6. These verses empower us to be free. I follow with the Apostle Paul's simple description of his ministry which affirms Ezekiel 34 and John 10. Please read on here for Luke 6 and Acts 20 verses with commentary.

Luke 6:33-35
6:33. And if you do good to them who do good to you, what thanks are to you? For sinners also do this.

6:34. And if you lend to them of whom you hope to receive, what thanks are to you? For sinners also lend to sinners, for to receive as much.
6:35. But love ye your enemies: do good, and lend, hoping for nothing thereby: and your reward shall be great, and you shall be the sons of the Highest. For He is kind to the unthankful and to the evil."

There is freedom, acceptance and enlightenment in these words of Christ. A surrender based recipe for contentment in the here and now. These words of Jesus confront law based religion. Let those who give to the needy cast the first stone. A Christ centered attitude of beatitude is the roadmap for abundant life! Now on to Acts.

A caution from Paul regarding the prosperitites:

Acts 20:28-35
Acts 20:28 "Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.
Acts 20:29 "For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock.
Acts 20:30 "Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves.
Acts 20:31 "Therefore watch, and remember that for three years I did not cease to warn everyone night and day with tears.
Acts 20:32 "So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
Acts 20:33 "I have coveted no one's silver or gold or apparel.
Acts 20:34 "Yes, you yourselves know that THESE HANDS have provided for my necessities, and for those who were with me.
Acts 20:35 "I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.' "
(See also: Ezekiel, Chapter 34 and John, Chapter 10 and 1st Corinthians 9:11-18)
Flee from prosperitites. (Check out the word "flee" in your Concordance!)
Praise God for who He is because He is everything, not just for what He gives. If it's about prosperity for you then work hard and earn well. If it's about a magical formula to get rich quick, try your "luck" following the crowd at Amway, E-Bay, the Lottery, penny stocks or whatever. That's not God. If, however, seeking God is for you, then enter through the narrow gate trusting Jesus Christ above all else - He is worthy of your trust. Work hard and give like Jesus does. Exercizing trust, proclaim the living God and make a straight path for the return of the King! Be a living martyr on fire for Christ!

~ Want to know a secret?
There is way more biblical evidence that God's greatest blessing comes in the form of contentment - especially in times of persecution and even at our execution, than there is evidence for riches, fame and accolades of wavering men. The former is of Spirit and is unaffected by rain. The latter only rusts. To this point, the recent re-emergence of tithe teaching is destroying the power of the church. The law came to condemn. Jesus is here to set you free! Flee from tithe teachers and others who would seek to draw you in under their law.

We're very happy to report that although religion crucified Jesus, God raised Him from the dead anyway. So much for the religious crowd's opinion. Like little Toto freed the wizard, let's apply truth to free the pious to do their greatest works. So many are trapped by tradition. We don't seek subjects, members or servants for ourselves. Instead, we welcome those who may stand upon our shoulders in order to serve His high purpose. Without concern for this life we boldly shout God's truth straight into the mouths of religion's savage wolves. With little or no resistance they either repent or they retreat.

"The road with Christ is more exciting, more fulfilling and way more rewarding than any other road this life offers you. If you feel somehow unworthy, then rest easy because it is a fact that God chooses unlikely servants, even "unworthy" ones. Give that consideration for the rest of your life if need be. Either way, God's got a plan for you.
God will be revealed if you seek Him. That's His promise!

Peace!
