It all started in 1974 when when I was born in the worst projects (Great Brook Valley Projects) of Worcester MASS. also known as WARTOWN. At the time living with both parents and two brothers, me being the middle child I shyed away from the norm. Other kids were building tree houses, forts and go-carts, I was break dancing and wondering how I can get a song on the radio like Cool Hurk, Melly-Mel and The Furious Five, you get the point. I would sit with my radio on the front step and just listen to whatever radio show played anything Hip-Hop. Even if the radio show was only an hour long I wouldn't miss for the world. My mom always was a Party Animal so we had music around us all the time. My dad split (BITCH-ASS NIGGA) and we kept it moving like he was never there. My family moved to another projects on the other side of the city called The Wellington Apartments, aka the "Four-Corners" or The Block. Thats when life started gettin tough for a lil' nigga. I repped the Valley and the cats from Main South hated dudes from my side of things. Always in some beef shit me and my brothers quickly got a rep for fuckin' Niggaz up. All the while my oldest bother Mike Diaz started to DJ house parties and local clubs, that killed a lot of the beef and things got better for the family. After 10 years in those projects my mom decides to move further into Main South. Thats when the real drama started. A local gang named Kilby Posse back then Hated niggaz from the Block, so agian we had to prove that we aint no slouches. I WAS COOL WITH A FEW NIGGAZ FROM THEIR SET THAT KEPT IT REAL, LIKE "WISO"& "JAVI", R.I.P. TO THEM TROOPERSBACE AND THAT NIGGA JUNE HELD ME AS WELL!!! Me and Mike in high school,(early 1990's) Nik about to be the next big thing in high school because we made it easy for him to run shit. At this time I'm still helping Mike Dj parties every weekend things got crazy. GANGS started poppin up in the city, I was heavy into graffitti and gettin up all over the east coast. I kept it Hip-Hop! Drama came my way so I started a gang. We were crazy deep in the summers of 93-94, then me being the leader I noticed that having a big ass army of soliders isn't whats poppin. I needed a family of real dudes around me so I cancled 90% of that team and got down with selected few. Only real niggaz who showed me love could get down!!!! Needless to say bullets were flying all the time and I seen a lot of good dudes that were dedicated to their sets lose lives. I gave the option to my faculty, either you can bounce and raise your kids or stay and risk loosing your life. Most stayed. Anyways, being a high school gang-leader wasn't all that it seemed to be. I re-focused myself after about 3years of banging, I got into college and wanted to own a recording studio and a radio station.(1994) The gang thing calmed down after the WPD put 150 Gang task force Police on the streets. Good job WPD for saving my life. Even though I hate most police, they have a job to do!! I was on my college grind and everthing seemed alright till I fucked up and got a shorty pregnant Back to the Block now, Grind time. I dropped out of college after 2 1/2 years and it's now 1996. Shakira was born but my lil' brother Nik was taking care of her because I couldn't face the music as a man yet. (1997) Me, Mike and Nik are having the time of our lives, moms on vacation we at the crib having house parties every weekend and then Nik gets arrested for having a burner. He took the burner from one of the Block niggaz that had been drinking and talking reckless, just so hommie wouldn't do antyhing stupid. Well, the cops got a call about someone pointing a little red laser maybe from an inferred beam and they showed up on the Block. Yup, Nik still had the toast on him and he got arrested. A few months after that he started college and a job at the mall trying to stack paper for when and if he got locked. He never made it more clear that he was a real G, he never ratted or even mentioned anyones name. Ready to take the bid and run with it, while still attending Johnson & Whales University in Rhode Island. His first month in college he came home to attend a party and visit family, Nik and Chino got shot after freestlye battle. Two months later while recovering, going to school , working and fighting his case, Nik was shot to death in a drive by shooting on Thanksgiving Eve (11/26/97) when he went to a friends house to visit. The case was solved years after. But Nik's death gave me the drive to become very involved in the community and keep this rap thing poppin. Nik and I had planned to call the Bad Boy hotline that was step up looking for artits to call in and leave a snippet of their hottest song. That was supposed to be Dec. 3rd a few days after Nik was killed. I got you broI now have three wonderful children Shakira, King and Nik'ayla. I've done a whole gang of shows, I own a recording studio and I have a equal partnership with Tha Farm ENT. as well as I am Keepin it 7LOVE for LIFE!!!!!! Oh yeah Clean your room, hommie!!!!!!
