IT’S TIME TO BRING THE MOTHERFUCKIN’ PARTY!!! The only way to do that is with San Marcos, CA-based Black Out.



Black Out is a balls-to-the-wall, no-apologies Metal band that wants nothing else but to have a good time. “We thrive off of keeping it real and staying true to ourselves,” says guitarst Matt McCowan. “The last thing we want to be is just another metal band that has a cliche tough guy attitude.” He and guitarist Randy Noyes, drummer Eldon McCarthy, bassist Ryan Killpatrick and vocalist Andy Trumbo have been rocking out like Slayer channeling Pantera.



Musically, they combine Pantera-style chords with Megadeth-style riffs and mix it up with a bit of Children of Bodom and Lamb of God. Though their influences are heavy, they tone it down enough so it’s not too brutal to the point of killing the party vibe.



Shit is always guaranteed to go down at a Black Out show. There’s always plenty of alcohol and weed to go around and the pit is hellacious yet fun. Their tunes and lyrics reflect that lifestyle: partying with friends, having a great time, no ego, no compromise and making new drinking buddies.
