*Heavily notarized for his ability to make people see his music as they listen, KayeM brings the true stories out of his hometown of Washington D.C. This artist/producer touches many different subjects and scenarios based on his life experiences, affiliations and knowledge of what is going on in his city, earning him the title "The Middle East Beast." Additionally with the absence of D.C. representation, KayeM's rhymes and beats have made a name for him in the hip-hop world and all agree that KayeM is the "One"



At the age of 16, KayeM started working as an engineer in various studios in the Washington D.C./Metropolitan area. Always the youngest person in the studio, KayeM was exposed to different styles and techniques of recording and mixing music. Taking it all in, KayeM enhanced his music production skills and took on writing & performing. After being featured as a producer/artist with numerous local artists on recordings, KayeM ventured out into the business world and co-founded Tomahawk City Entertainment, LLC in late 2004, establishing a solid foundation of music, talent and business. Soon, others around him would know, it was only a matter of time before he would try his hand at producing and writing his own project.



To date, Kay has recorded close to one hundred solo songs including songs produced by the biggest producers out of D.C. including Chuckie Thompson, Grammy award-winners Chink Santana and Rich Harrison. Kay has also has worked with major recording artists such as T-Pain (Jive records), Mya (Mowtown), and Sterling Simms (Def Jam).
