K'E-K'E-M

I K'e-k'e-m sono un gruppo di ragazzi sardi che dal '99 cercano di portare in giro il verbo del rock'n'roll, riuscendo solo in minima parte nell'intento (in Sardegna, viene un po' in salita).

Un po' per negligenza, un po' per mancanza di spazi adeguati, il gruppo ha sempre avuto difficoltà nel farsi conoscere ma è ormai giunto alla quarta fatica discografica, "Wait!We're late", ricca di pezzi tiratissimi da gettonare nel juke-box di qualche bettola.

Questo lavoro segue il precedente "7 Split" con gli svedesi Hathor (agosto 2007), il disco "Zilleri Rock" (febbraio 2006) che li ha resi noti in 3 città e 18 paesi, il quasi sconosciuto "Birra bi tui" (2002) e una demo di interesse praticamente nullo del 2001.

In tutti questi anni di attività il gruppo ha fatto numerosi concerti, molti per un pubblico di minerali, altri affollati di vita, ma tutti suonati con la stessa intensità. Il gruppo spera sempre di trovare un po' di spazio in più e continuerà sempre a collaborare con altre bands o qualsivoglia attività dedita alla creazione e alla promozione della musica indipendente.



K'e-k'e-m are a Sardinian rock'n'roll band that playing since 1999 around.

Even if there is no adeguate place and we don't ever have enough money, we released a new diy album, "Wait! We're late".

It follows our previous "7 Split" with the Swedish punk/rock band "Hathor" and the album Zilleri Rock ("Zilleri" is a traditional Sardinian word that we use to call the tipical Sardinian old fashioned bar) in the February 2006.

Ii is an half an hour of genuine rock'n'roll we suggest to listen our tracks while your drinking, if it's possibile a lot of beer, good wine or wiskey (choice is yours).

At first we recorded a no interesting demo tape on 2000, then on 2002 we made an album called "Birra bi tui".

During these years K'e-k'e-m played several shows, some just for the chairs, most of all crowded, all of them played with the same messing energy.

K'e-K'e-m are now looking for new places, new scenes and good people, where we could be known.

We would like to cooperate with someone as far as it concerns distributions and promotion of our music.
