BILLY KEKONA

Billy Kekona should be an inspiration to us all. For more than half of his life, Billy Kekona has been incarcerated, isolated from the world, from his family, his friends, and from himself. Not knowing where his life would lead him, or when he will be able to see the world again, Billy has turned to writing. He has written and composed many songs behind bars. His songs speaks about his life, his feelings, his changes and emotions of his surroundings in prison life. Upon his release, Billy decided to completely change his life around and share his life and his world to us all through the completion and release of his first CD entitled, "From Inside These Walls". It is a testament to Billy Kekona's life inside those walls where the great majority of us cannot even think of ever going. As life teaches everyone of us about the wrong and rights, Billy Kekona shares his life, his wrongs and his world behind bars thru his music. It is his story of true meaning and his way of sharing to the world that the life that we live now on a daily basis should never be taken for granted. Because just like that, one simple mistake, one slip up, or one bad decision, our world and our life as we know it, will be seen from inside those walls.
