I loved the song "I Did Acid With Caroline" which consists of 3 chords that I learned once. I thought, "I could do that!" So I did do that. I borrowed my roomates backpacker guitar that night, headed up to a local open-mic, got on the stage and said "I only know how to play this one Daniel Johnston song. So here it is." I got a great response from the crowd and started learning or writing a new song every week. I havn't stopped since. I played all around New York City solo as well as with an experimental pop group led by my good friend Paul Hogan (listen to his group "Frances" at www.myspace.com/francestheband). I live in Columbus now and I would love to play with anyone, anywhere, anytime. I play several different instruments (guitar, harmonica, banjo, ukulele, FM radio, glockenspiel, warbly singing, and other stuff too), if you're interested drop me a line. IM me at BanjoStory2. If you want.
