DJ JOSE MATA

Jose Mata, a name and talent that has quickly risen in the electronic music industry.  He is a Louisiana native that comes from one of the biggest electronic music scene's in the US.  Growing up in Louisiana Jose Mata was exposed to early days of the underground rave scene of New Orleans.  Always loving dance music, he rarely missed one of the infamous Disco Donnie's huge parties at the State Palace Theater to see artists such as Sasha & Digweed, Josh Wink, Trent Cantrelle and The Crystal Method.  Little did he know that in the years to come he would be on the same stage amongst some of these elite performers
-------------------------------.------------------------------------It wasn't until 2002 when he stepped into the dj booth and found his new born passion.  Moving to South Florida in early 2004 it is here where he emerged as a fresh, young talent who mesmerized faithful audiences with his soul-stirring dance tunes.  For the last five years he has been making the dance floors rock not only in Florida but all over the United States.  No matter if its playing on the beach's of Miami or in the largest night clubs in Los Angeles, the dance floor is always intense during one of Jose's sets.  He has held residencies at 5 major night clubs in South Florida and Rome being his most recent
---------------------------------------------------------------2007 was the year to progress for Jose as he performed all across the United States and suddenly found himself in International Territory on the Solar Sessions Tour. Opening for some of the worlds most recognized names like Noel Sanger, Markus Schulz and many other world class Dj's. During this time Jose was featured on Sirius Radio's Area 33 and several other internet radio stations throughout the world.Currently ranked 42nd on the Progressive House Charts 2008 looks to become Jose's best year yet.  He is just as active in the studio as the in the dj booth and working on several remixes and original projects with some of the world’s best producers.
