my name is Birgir Orn Steinarsson, i've been the singer/guitarist of icelandic band Maus for quite some time now. everyone calls me biggi, and your welcome to do so as well. i moved from my hometown of reykjavik, iceland, to London late 2004, to focus on my creative work. there i finished my debut solo album called "id", wich was released by 12 tónar in iceland and scandinavia mid october 06.

the album was produced by tim simenon and geoff smith and mixed by jono podmore.

i also work as a producer, producing both my own album with them and others. so far ive recorded albums with kimono, lokbra and bag of joys. recently i've been doing some remixes for other bands. send me a line, if you have some music you would like me to bigitize!.

currently im back in iceland again slowly working on my second album. it goes really slowly because ive put most of my creative output into my new band Króna. We hope to release our debut album this year, in 2010. the only solo shows i do these days are alone with an accoustic guitar. and only when im asked to do it!
