BigCussion aka Balls Mcguinty

Big Cussion is a musician in both the lyrical and production level. This 26 year old veteran of Hip Hop has had his hand in the music industry for 12 years. Beginning at the age of 13 Big Cussion started free-styling, entering rap battles and studying the game of Hip Hop and being inspired by the great works within East Coast Hip Hop, which he grew up listening to. By the age of 18 he was taught some basic skills by a friend (DJ Deadbeat) who inspired Big Cussion to use his talent to produce his own sound. Hip Hop has always been a hobby for Cussion but nowadays he is pushing it with his solo debut album As Long As It Lasts. Cussion began nurturing his lyrical skills at the age of 16; he is 25 years old now and is an established song writer with nutty punch lines, witty flow, and catchy hooks. As a producer, Cussion finds himself inspired by the legendary works of Dr. Dre, DJ Premier, Timberland,swizz beats and Green Lantern. Fellow artists that motivate Cussion with his game and lyrical style are Eminem, Biggie, BIG L, and Jadakiss. Although these artists are way a head of the game, Cussion’s aspirations are to follow them in their footsteps to success. With Cussion’s original style and production techniques he is out there within the London community, making a name for himself and impressing thousands along the way. Although a talented force to be reckoned with, Cussion is currently unsigned and creates his own music as he collaborates with various local artists. Although not a big name outside the local environment, he is highly respected by MC’s that are very supportive of his musical career; believing his work to be of quality and originality.
