El Eye El Trap [Lil Trap],born,raised, and residing in Columbus,Georgia began writing music at the tender age of 13 and recorded the songs on his cousin's karoake machine in her den.Let After playing with the idea of being a rapper and having his first studio session i na REAL studio,he was more than ready to start pursuiting the dream of one day becoming the BEST.
Now, at the age of 19, he's still in auto pilot and getting better by the second.He was mentored by friend Femmi and was allowed free studio access as an artist of BIA Records, and has now branched out to be a solo artist, a CEO, a producer, and ghostwriter.He formed a group [Da PaperboyZ] comprised of top notch solo artists in the winter of 2004.He has done over 60 collabs, put together 4 mixtapes, [RELEASING 1 To The Public/Internet, Da Playoffs Round 1 Game 1],has been the first artist of the once known UrbanstopENT [and internet based promotion label] and has become a familiar name in the Tri-City area by SELF-PROMOTION on myspace,the radio, and word-of-mouth [friends/family/haters/etc.]
Far from your TYPICAL southern rapper, he tries to deliver clever and sometime COMPLEX punchlines, and have an "Up-North" feel to his music so that he stands out from the flock of "sterotyped" artists from the south,Yet, he can deliver any message on anytime of beat/song with his own twist to it, NEVER CLICHE.Yet, he is always focused on making it big someday and he is now managed/mentored by C. Moss and is making sure that he gets the recognition that he deserves for the work/time he has put in in hopes of taking off musically,Sooner Than Later.
