Born and raised in Oakland, California BIAJE pronounced B.I.G. has been the most consistant artist to come out of the bay area. Jamaal Henderson (BIAJE)
has been in the music bizz for over 17 years and and released his first album at the age of 18 in 1995 titled II FOE THA MONEY which sold 20,000 copies independent. During 1997-1998 BIAJE released his first solos album tittled SICKLY SICKLY a bay area classic which featured some of the best bay area artists to hit the rap scene. This album featured B-LEGIT ,CELLY CELL, 3XKRAZY, 11/5, R&B SINGER MYSTIC, LIL BRUCE, UNAFFILIATED, SPICE 1,L EVITTI,S AN QUINN, YOUNG CELLSKI, SEAN-T AND MORE with all tracks produced by SEAN-T and it was a bayarea banger for the following few years. STRICKTLY SICKLY went on to gross 13,00 copies and continues to be a bay area classic. BIAJE then went on the BLACK COLLEGE TOUR hitting Mississippi, Alabama, Ohklahoma, Arizona, Atlanta, and many other states in the dirty south performing and promoting. BIAJE have been performed with artist such as NOTORIUS B.I.G., C-BO, THE LUNIZ, 702, NAS, SNOOP DOOG, THA DOOG POUND, MACK 10, MISTAH F.A.B, BEEDA WEEDA, RAPPING F4-TAY , and XHIBIT just to name a few . In 1999 BIAJE Co-Founded the Indie label STEEL REEL ENTERTAINMENT with his best friend / brother Andrew. In 1999 BIAJE was back at it again with his 2nd solo album album titled MADD RAPPS which debuted in 2000. This album was put together in less than 4 months with guess appearances from KEEK THE SNEAK, SPICE 1, J.T. THE BIGGA FIGGA, CAPTAIN SAVE A HOE, AND THE GAMBLAZ. TMADD RAPPS succesfully sold over 12,000 copies independently, but BIAJE was not satified then and BIAJE put a core of artists together 100%, KADDI KOUP, J.D. AND HIMSELF, and formed THE FACULTY IN 2001. The group recorded a album that tittled FACULTY RILES that was never released due to contract disputes with recording companies. In 2002 biaje was in the studio once again working on his 3rd solo album tittled SLAPOLOGY. In the process BIAJE was on over 45 compilations, 33 mix tapes ,and guest appeared on numerous albums. In 2003 the SLAPOLOGY album was finished. BIAJE had a classic in the making again teaming up with hip hop icons and fellow bay are natives E-40, TOOSHORT, W.C.(Westside Connection), AND FORMER G-UNIT MEMBER THE GAME. BIAJE held the album back for a while so he could release a mix tape to create a buzz for the new album. The mixtape was recorded and BIAJE called on a few of his friends to get on it. This was not just a mix tape. This was the first mix album with only 5 mixtape songs and 15 original songs from artists such as JUVENILE, CELLY CELL, THE FEDERATION, MISTAH F.A.B., BEEDA WEEDA, WILDCATZ, NDERSURVALENCE, SEAN-T, THE TEENAGER (18), THE HOODSTARS(SCOOT&BANDAID), MIKE THE MOST, and many more. in 2004 the mix tape was released and was a very successful project. The album SLAPOLOGY was released JULY 22,2005 in all stores now and already sold over 5,000 copies .But BIAJE still keeps going in FEB 06 BIAJE plans to release his 4th solo effort tittled THE RE-CONSTRUCTION which will feature E-40, MISTAH F.A.B.,TOOSHORT, KEEK DA SNEEK, UNDERSURVALENCE, BEEDA WEEDA, JAIMIE FOXX,CASUAL,G-STACK(PURPLE MAYNE),HOODSTARZ,D.N.A.,AND MORE and still is in the process of finishing it.
