B-FADE / PRAY AREA

Raised in the heart of East Oakland B-Fade wasn't immune to the many temptations the streets presented to him. In the early 90's he daily became the product of his environment. His bondage began on the streets, and grew deeper through selling drugs, using drugs & alcohol which landed him in County Jails and prisons. Continuing in this tornado of oppression, violence and a hard heart B-Fade began to realize the damage that he was doing to himself and others, Music became his way of escape from street life.
B-Fade began recording with secular artists and made appearances on albums with E-40, Too-Short, T.Q. (from cash money) Lil' Zane, C-BO, Keak Da Sneak, Rappin 4-Tay, Mike Mosley (Tupac) All Access Documentary & many more. Although this was his avenue off the streets he soon discovered the dark side of the secular music industry, which was a new kind of evil for him. Being exposed to more drugs, violence and sex, the Gangster Rap Industry proved to only mask the reality that it was no different than the streets that he thought he had escaped from.
Realizing that the only way out of this lifestyle was death or life in prison, something inside of him knew that something had to change. In 2002 B-Fade gave his life to Christ. A year later B-Fade with God's permission and the wisdom of his spiritual covering, God made room for his gifts in music for the sole purpose of kingdom building by fulfilling the great commission, Matthew 28:18-20. He is continually being trained in sound doctrine and a solid foundation and church home and his first ministry being a husband and a father to three beautiful daughters.
With a nationwide evangelistic ministry that is powerful and anointed; he has spread the gospel through his music in many churches, community events & juvenile halls; as well as sharing stages with Gospel greats such as Mary-Mary, Eugene Cole and Freida Mitchell just to name a few.
B-Fade has become an X-factor to the world in the positive sense; he is no longer a product of his environment, no longer captivated by the bondage that once held him hostage.
