Beyond Rhythm

In the summer of 2000 out of Riverside California Beyond Rhythm is born Growing up with a love for reggae, ska, & dub music gave inspiration to come together and create an original band with a positive sound. Over the years have come many different players and stages of the band but the core of the music has always been progressing led by vocalist Benjamin Cook aka BJah and keyboardist Will Cannell. The band has continued to perform at various venues all around California and opening up for some reggae greats such as the Wailing Souls, Inner Circle, Pato Banton, Yami Bolo, Sister Carol, Frankie Paul, Elephant Man, Garth Dennis, Big Mountain, & Rankin Joe to name thru out the years. In 2004 the song "Backfire" was recorded & released on the Henhouse Studios compilation album. The long awaited debut album is expected to be released this year. For over a decade now Beyond Rhythm has been rockin crowds, using music as a tool for equal rights and justice and speaking for the voice of this generation.
