With unmistakable style, strength and sound, Beverley Mahood has returned to the country music scene in full force. After a detour into other entertainment genres including theatre and television, Beverley has once again immersed herself in her true artistic loves – songwriting and performing. “Making music is a life-long passion that I can’t ignore,” says Beverley. “My music is the story of my life.”

Marking her tenth year as an artist, her new album "Unmistakable" comes straight from the heart. Her most personal album yet, "Unmistakable" is the natural result of her maturing both as an individual and as an entertainer, and reflecting her own journey of self-discovery. “After spending a few years getting to know myself better, my music has definitely grown,” says Beverley, “I’ve gained new perspectives. My fans are seeing a lot more of me on this album.”

Emigrating from Belfast as child, Beverley’s independent Irish spirit shines through in every facet of her work. Reluctant to fit into anyone’s box, her musical themes speak to her enduring faith that no matter what life throws at you, the struggle will only make you stronger. Lessons about love, loss, and learning about what you really want are all part of Beverley’s musical mix, issues that she has explored as much for her own sake as for the sake of her audience.

“Hosting television has brought me closer to what people really care about,” says Beverley. “I know people need to hear a voice of hope, and the more you share with them, the more they will grow with you. Nothing means more to me than seeing someone in the front row connecting with my music and singing along with every word.”

Since the launch of her debut album, "Girl Out of The Ordinary," Beverley’s music has touched a chord with a wide fan base, earning her multiple hit radio singles, numerous awards and an international following. She has worked with renowned producer David Foster to create the female trio Lace, and she has released a series of successful solo albums, including "Moody Blue," which yielded both a number one song and a number one video for the single, “The First Day You Wake up Alone.”

Beverley has become one of CMT’s most popular TV personalities – most recently as anchor judge on the acclaimed series "CMT Chevy Karaoke Star." She's also hosted several programs, including "CMT Central," the hit reality show "Project Mom/Project Dad," and the popular countdown program, "Ultimate."

If there’s anything that rivals Beverley’s passion for music, it’s her dedication to community. Closest to Beverley’s heart are initiatives for children. She has been a devoted supporter of Juvenile Diabetes, the Alberta Children’s Hospital and the David Foster Foundation. She’s also a regular supporter of the CIBC Run for the Cure, an initiative to end breast cancer.

New to Beverley’s career is her business partnership with Canadian entrepreneur W. Brett Wilson. Together they have formed BPM Entertainment Corp. to pursue creative investment opportunities in the entertainment world.

Today, Beverley is back in Nashville, the country music capital of the world, and is continuing to blaze trails not only for independent Canadian artists, but also for women in general. Working with Chris Farren, a producer from her earlier Lace CD, Beverley is looking forward to touring, performing and continuing to explore her unmistakable style as a multi-layered, genre-bending performer with more stories to tell.
