Betty Poison formed in 2005. Shortly afterwards they started performing constantly, both in Italy and abroad. They played regularly throughout Europe
(Belgium, Germany, France, Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, Switzerland) and in winter 2011 they had a very successful U.S.A. tour, starting off in New York City and going down the East Coast (Virginia, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Vermont.).
Chosen by Courtney Love and Hole as opening act in Milan and Rome (Feb and Aug 2010).
Soundtrack for a recent performance by Anton Perich, long time photographer for Andy Warhol and eminent member of The Factory. It took place in New York and was shot by Minimal Cinema.
Distributed by 20th Century Fox HE alongside with the dvd of "Megiddo", the colossal made by special effects creators for "Ironman", "Fantastic Four", "Ghost Rider". In addition the video for the Betty single "Psychovicious" was included among the special contents of the movie.
As Betty Poison kept performing throughout Italy and abroad their audience grew larger and larger and the band was aired on many radios, including CNN RADIO (1190AM w/Lane & Dave Radio Show in Dallas), BRF, the Belgian national radio and many others. They also appeared on almost all italian main tv channels and are quite often on tv as guests in several music broadcasts.
Under the label Fastermaster Records they relased the powerful 5 tracks EP "Uncool" (2008) and two full lenght albums: "Poison for you" (2009), distributed both in Holland and Italy, and "Beauty is over" (April 2011), released in Rome and Berlin.

I Betty Poison suonano regolarmente sia in Italia che all'estero, spesso calcando i palchi di storiche venues alternative e attirando l'attenzione di pubblico e media per la loro musica urticante e per i loro live ad alto impatto. Hanno alle spalle tre tour europei (Germania, Belgio, Austria, Repubblica Ceca, Ungheria, Francia) e un tour negli Stati Uniti partito da da New York City e proseguito con grande successo per tutta l'East Coast (New York, New Jersey, Vermont, Pennsylvania, Virginia.).
Scelti dagli Hole di Courtney Love come opening act dei loro concerti di Roma e Milano (Magazzini Generali ed Atlantico Live, Feb ed Ago 2010).

Quattro brani dei Betty sono distribuiti dalla 20th Century Fox HE in allegato al dvd del colossal "Megiddo" (realizzato dai creatori degli effetti speciali di IRONMAN, I FANTASTICI QUATTRO e GHOST RIDER) e il video del loro primo singolo, Psychovicious, compare tra i contenuti speciali del film.
I Betty passano su moltissimi canali televisivi tra cui Italia 1, Rete 4 , due reti Rai, Virgin TV (che definisce la band una delle più interessanti della scena rock italiana), Deejay TV, Rock TV, Match Music e molti altri. La band viene intervistata per Vite Reali su RAI 4 e per Fendinebbia su L'espresso on-line.
Lucia è ospite di Maurizio Costanzo (all'interno di una puntata di Raccontando dedicata alle Cattive Ragazze), della radio nazionale belga (BRF), della CNN RADIO (1190AM w/Lane & Dave Radio Show, Dallas) e del programma Open Mike night on The River 97.3 WRVV (Harrisburg, PA). Viene inoltre intervistata dalla scrittrice Betty Galanti e parte dell'intervista finisce su Repubblica XL on-line.
Per Fastermaster Records escono Il loro primo EP, "Uncool" (2008), il primo full lenght, "Poison for you" (2009), distribuito in Italia e in Olanda, e "Beauty is over", il loro secondo e nuovissimo album (aprile 2011), presentato sia a Roma che a Berlino.
