Only a few bands, besides this one, have such an innovative approach to the acoustic-playing way as Bermuda Acoustic Trio, a band composed by three excellent musicians, that had already been publicly known by having played next to many Italian and international famous artists.

The three musicians, Giorgio Buttazzo (guitar and voice); Gabriele Monti (guitar and voice) and Kamsin Giordano Urzino (bass and voice), first met in a lucky chance encounter, and since that moment they have been sharing their personal talent to put together an ensemble where the result coming from their cooperation is much bigger and higher than the simple sum of their single capacities.

The birth of the band took place almost fortuitously: during the sound-check of a Pierangelo Bertolis acoustic concert, an Italian songwriter and singer they were leading on stage at that time, the audience felt touched and taken-in by the music they were hearing coming from their guitars.

Something new and peculiar was going to start.

The musicians, by their side, felt this too, and the sound check became, itself, a little concert.

So, Bermuda Acoustic Trio was finally born!

The formula, in its instinctive approach, was just the right one, but all the show setting, such as the choice of the songs to play, was missing, so what they did was proposing each other their personal back-ground experiences and the songs they had previously played on stage.

Thanks to their capacity and talent in arranging songs, every track was enriched and attached with new and different musical phrases in perfect nice-hearing harmony, to enable the band to keep concerts lasting more than two hours.

So, songs that were originally three minutes long, easily became kind of a whole composition of musical fragments, just like a kaleidoscope where changes are unexpected and amazingly surprising.

Nowadays, with more than two hundred concerts a year, Bermuda Acoustic Trio has widely reached, with its peculiar music, a boundless audience of any kind and, most importantly, of any age: in fact the age of the fans doesnt matter at all, Bermudas music is worldwide, and it meets with general approval so much that everybody, excepting no one, gets involved by the rhythm of their exhibitions.

With their apparently abridged formation, the Band has the ability to spread so much energy and excitement that even artists like Jeff Healy whose Italian concert has been opened by them just some years ago) asserted Its the most amusing acoustical band Ive ever heard.

Their playing repertory features the best classic hits of 70s, 80s and 90s, in an interminable show that proposes, in a fluent harmony, several music styles, such as pop, rock, jazz and blues: from famous Pink Floyds song Wish You Were Here to Dire Straits track Sultans Of Swing, passing through classical Marcia Alla Turca, by Mozart, embedded in Duelin Banjo and Guglielmo Tell to name but a few, and all this, of course, doesnt exclude the presence of the most famous and best-known songs of Italian and American songwriters. Theyre dynamical style allows them to play almost in every kind of situation, in every place.

There is no place where they wouldnt be able to play. So far, theyve been playing in theatres; on big festival stages;

they had concerts even in churches, creating a magical emphasis for them and for the audience; they play in restaurant, pubs, private parties, they also appear on TV programs.

This is what happens when people gets in touch with such a bizarre and borderline Trio, which never wants to distinguish between high-class or Low-quality music, which can change from classical, to pop, through folk, reaching Rock & Roll, going on with jazz

Its almost impossible to explain with human words the supernatural force spread in a Bermuda Acoustic Trios concert, also because what people hear or see in front of them its improvised every single night. Each concert tells a different story and is different then the one before, and this is another peculiarity that makes this Trio be so unique.

The Trio has been invited, in Venice, at two editions of one of the Worlds most excellent music festivals: the Venezia Suona, and at the Festival Les nuits de la Guitare in Patrimonio (Corse Island, France), sponsored next to Paco de Lucia, along with Jeff Beck, Buena Vista Social Club, Duo Assad and Robben Ford.

They had a wonderful special concert with great Stanley Jordan, too, who they enjoyed playing with a lot.

Bermuda Trio have taken part of the Salento Guitar Festival, on stage with very special guests such as Paolo Giordano, Peter Finger, Harvey Reid, Armando Corsi.

Since year 2001 theyve been playing at every edition of very famous Soave Guitar Festival, near Verona, north of Italy, playing next to a lot of great very famous musicians such as Franco Cerri, Tommy Emmanuel, John Jorgenson, Stephen Bennet, Pedro Javier Gonzalezs Trio, to name but a few.

In April 2002 they organized a real booming concert in Reggio Emilia, where they played together with great Australian finger-style guitarist TOMMY EMMANUEL.

After that very successful concert the Trio met Tommy Emmanuel on stage in other several occasions.

In May 2005 the Trio was invited, as Special Guest, to play at one of the biggest international guitar festival: the Dunquerque Finger Picking Festival, where the band had a very successful concert which the audience felt really captured by: they hadnt have heard anything similar in that style before, of course.

In May 1998 they published their first live CD "LIVE AT JOHNNY FOX'S", an album with several music pieces recorded in two of their concerts, one in Modena, the other one in Reggio Emilia. The work is kind of a picture that shows the intensive musical activity of their exordium times, and that transmits the emotive shock that still today can be felt at their concerts.

In December 1999 their second album, titled LIVIN STUDIO, comes out.

Its title is not fortuitous. In fact, instead of the first one, which represented the meaning of their intensive live career so far, this new album is a compilation of tracks they usually play in live setting, recorded, though, in a comfortably recording studio.

All the pieces they play can easily represent the leading soundtracks of our common daily lives, and can narrate our stories.

The music they do is often considered, at the same time, difficult to imitate precisely by playing, because of the high class level of the musicians, but funny and easy to listen to, because of the NATURAL, direct and deep feelings it can transmit.

So theyve soon found out the right name of their third album, available since April 2003: "NATURALLY LIVE", a live work where all together these features are emphasized and play a paramount role all through its duration.

Bermuda acoustic Trio, since its birth, has been really working hard to reach the goal of a funny and pleasant project where the musicians can find, along with the amusing feelings and participation of the audience, also the comfort coming from a serious approach with the music that, time after time, is involved in several peculiar nice-hearing musical fragments.

This third album wants to underline the meaning of this artistic interpretation, by showing the high maturity reached so far by the Band in this unique music approach.

The choice, by the Trio, of the tracks to put into the album is kind of a rsum of this philosophy: a long and hard research harmoniously matched with their own personal way to have fun and to amuse by playing music.

The last CD album, published in 2005, is called BERMUDA PLAYS PINK.

The idea to create a whole CD dedicated to mythical Pink Floyds band followed, besides a desire of the Trio, a specific wish that the audience people used to express after every concert where they could listen to a remade Pink Floyds song played by Bermuda Acoustic Trio. In fact the public could easily feel the capacity of the Trio to play such a difficult, peculiar, music with just their live instruments, in their likely apparent abridged formation, dynamically applied in kind of a kaleidoscope full of acrobatic music tricks. Pinks music could look not exactly the right sort of music to be played with just three acoustic music instruments such as two acoustic guitars and a bass. As a matter of fact, also thanks to the paramount role played sometimes by some of the new high-technology tools that the Band have chosen as a support in playing their live music, along with the capability of the musicians to make their instruments play any kind of music they want to, this very rare and special LIVE WORK came finally true, after long researches on sounds and effects that this kind of music needs, having been working hard to the realisation of this project, that someone considered even impossible, before its definitive distribution, because no acoustic band had ever been doing a work at this level before. For the definitive version of the CD, they put together the parts recorded purely live at their concerts and theyve worked on them in the music studio, sometimes to make them better, adding some music effects, sometimes just leaving the live recording as the definitive version for the album.
