Berkeley High School Jazz Ensemble's 2008-09 Combo #1 performing "Pure Funk" by Stuart Wade.Combo #1 Part One is the first half of the piece. It was necessary to split the recording because of YouTube's length limitations.
It features Jonah Levine on Trombone; James Gillum, Trumpet; Geoffrey Lee, Piano; Eric Shiboski, Bass; James Small on Drums with Guest Musicians Nathan Kersey-Willson on Tenor Sax and Daniel Baltazar on Alto Sax.
